Solution - Mine/ Rubbish Dump Outfall Management; Decommisioned mines and rubbish dumps can be a major source of water pollution unless proper systems are put in place. Often diffuse water seeps from mines in many remote locations making capture and treatment expensive.
When several PAPA pumps are installed around 'at risk' streams or drains from these dumps or mines, a large percentage of polluted water and leachate can be pumped to a central location for treatment.
