PAPA Pump Systems- to capture, clean and restore water courses.
With the new Composite PAPA Pump at its heart, there are several proven and also new innovative systems which the PAPA Pump Team has developed.
From a Siphon System for the constant filling of troughs/ tanks to Fish Passes which have PAPA Pumps integrated into the pass itself.
Keep in touch with us if there is a zero energy pumping system you would like to see developed !
Why use a PAPA Siphon Pump? This is a simple & permanent system for single tank, trough or pond filling.
Farmers often need to remove livestock from watercourses to reduce water pollution or International Development Agencies may want clothes washing to be done in seperate washing areas, so that pollution can be captured.
The Siphon System trickle feeds this large water tank, in the picture on the right, from a nearby stream on a constant, 24/7 basis.

PAPA Pump powered Fish Passes
This exciting new system uses the Composite Pump intergrated into a fish pass itself- Can you see the blue PAPA Pump in this fish pass?
In low lying, slow moving water courses, water is often required by livestock or for agriculture. However, livestock pollute sensitive water and pumping water uses energy.
However, installing the new PAPA Pump Fish Pass into the watercourse allows rare Eels, Elvers and fish to move over the pass but still allows the Pump inside to power a constant flow of water to bankside tanks/ toughs.
Weirs and dams can interrupt the ability for fish to migrate, however, this ensures there is no disruption AND moves water to where it is needed with zero energy.
The New PAPA Pump Fish Pass system is being tested in multiple locations- Please contact PAPA Pump to book your Fish Pass.
There are many uses for PAPA Pumps to save Mains water by pumping flood water to be stored and later used in drought. PAPA Pumps also reduce energy bills from normal electric pumping systems and can be installed far from mains electric grids.
