Read the 'Climate Change Risk Assesment' just published by the UK Government. Currently the UK suffers £1.4bn worth of damage from flooding (sea and fresh water) by 2080 this could be £12bn annually. Not only that but the amount of farmland at risk of flooding is expected to jump as well......
